Give and Grow

Sometimes a single opportunity changes everything. For children in Brightmoor we can change their ability to master basic reading and math skills. Elementary aged children will be able to return to school in the fall having been challenged by grade level expectations and turned an opportunity into the reality of achievement.

The St. Vincent and Sarah Fisher Center summer Learning Experience Program for children in the Brightmoor area offers individualized focused skill building in reading and math. Children referred by their classroom teacher work with a tutor one on one or in a small group. The eight week intensive summer program allows children to maintain and grow the reading and math skills they’ve struggled to learn during the school year.

This summer your donation will give the children an opportunity that may change the direction of their lives, open the door to possibilities beyond school failure and inspire them to academic growth.

How can you help?

The Center’s mission cannot be accomplished without the generosity of individuals, groups, and corporations.
