NSO Community Resource Fair

Promoting our newest location, on the Eastside at the NSO Harper-Gratiot Multi-Service Center, The Education Experience participated in the NSO Community Resource Fair on Saturday, July 30, 2011.  It was a great day and we were proud to be part of the activities!

The Men of U of M!!

On Saturday, July 16, 2011, five young men from University of Michigan went out of their way (literally) to visit the Center in Detroit.  They came armed with shovels, great attitudes and strong backs.  They helped the Center to try to reclaim it's landscaping and spread yards of mulch, weeded, trimmed trees, and bushes and all with a smile on their faces.  We are grateful to David Choi, Neil Parikh, Sravan Rengarajan, Arush Vij, and Erik Rebbe (who organized the day) for their hard work - it was just a few hours for them, but makes a BIG difference to those that come to the Center every day.
